There are so many amazing products out there, from pads to cups we are here to help you learn about the different products and brands on offer. Obviously, the most important part of period wear is leakage which is heavily (excuse the pun) connected to flow and one of the most common questions we are asked is how long can you wear cloth for? Well, in moments of forgetting to pack swaps I have worn a day pad from 9 til 4, it wasn’t the nicest sensation- however there was no leakage ( this was an Imse Vimse regular pad). Leaking After trying a few brands I would say that Imse Vimse definitely come out as one of the best for non leaking. The downside to Imse Vimse is the light day pads have a tendency to work themselves back as you walk - que embarrassing movements to try and get them back to where they should be. Eco Femme are also high up on the non leakage scale, the pads new organic pads are also slimmer and more comfortable than the original Eco Femme pads. Cheeky Mama pads are okay for leakage, but not great for heavy days. This may be a material difference, cotton allows the liquid to soak in whereas with the Polyester topped Cheeky Mama pads the liquid sits on the top.
